The Beginning of the End of Iran Sanctions? Analysis and Business Implications

29-30 September 2015
Organizer: Debevoise & Plimpton
Location: Debevoise & Plimpton, London & New York

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP invites you to seminars, in London and New York, exploring the implications of recent developments concerning international economic sanctions against Iran.

In July, a historic deal was reached between Iran, the EU, and the P5+1 (the United States, United Kingdom, France, China, Russia and Germany) to wind down the Iranian nuclear programme in exchange for sanctions relief. The sanctions relief will come in phases, based on Iran’s achieving certain milestones.

One major milestone in the process comes in late September when the U.S. Congress concludes its 60-day review of the deal and decides whether to pass a resolution of disapproval.

Held in London and New York, both seminars will explore the scope of the new deal, Congress’ and others’ reactions, the likely course the deal will take over the coming months and years, and the implications for international business with interests in the region.
