Debevoise Advises AIG in its $158 Million Sale of its Taiwan Consumer and SME Businesses to Nan Shan Life Insurance in Taiwan

Debevoise & Plimpton is advising American International Group, Inc. (AIG) in its agreement with Nan Shan Life Insurance Co., Ltd. to sell the consumer and small to mid-size enterprise businesses of AIG Taiwan Insurance Co. Ltd. in Taiwan for $158 million (NT$4.819 billion). The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2016, subject to necessary regulatory approvals.
