Sally Gibson, a London partner at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, has been named by Financial News to its annual “40 under 40” list, recognizing the rising stars of the financial legal profession.

The 2016 edition of the list showcases the “brightest and the best 40 legal advisers aged under 40.” In naming Ms. Gibson to the list, Financial News states that she is a “heavyweight when it comes to fundraising advice.”

It’s the latest accolade for Ms. Gibson, having been named by to The Lawyer’s “Hot 100” list in January, and Private Funds Management’s “30 Under 40” list in October.

Ms. Gibson is a member of the firm's Investment Management Group. Her practice focuses on advising sponsors of private investment funds, including buyout, real estate, infrastructure, energy, mezzanine and secondaries funds. Ms. Gibson has also advised on the restructuring of English investment managers and investment advisers and the acquisition of fund management groups. She has extensive experience working with clients to navigate the regulatory issues affecting the private equity and fund management sectors.
