Debevoise Advises Brand Energy and Infrastructure Services, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice on Combination of Industrial Businesses

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising Brand Energy and Infrastructure Services, a premier global provider of specialized services, and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice on the combination of industrial services businesses, Brand Energy and Safway Group. Debevoise is also advising on the financing aspects of the transaction.

Brand Energy is a portfolio company of CD&R and Safway is owned by Odyssey Investment Partners. At closing, which is expected to occur in the third quarter of 2017, Odyssey will exit its investment in Safway and CD&R will be the controlling shareholder of the combined company. The combined business will have annual sales of approximately $5 billion and will be the leading firm in industrial services.
