The Chambers Associate rankings are based on a survey of associates, who are asked to rate their firms in a range of categories, including diversity recruiting, inclusivity training, mentoring, staffing and retention.

In naming Debevoise to the top spot, Chambers cited the firm’s unyielding dedication to diversity—namely the progress of the firm’s initiatives to improve diversity and inclusion, and open dialogue about where the firm stands on diversity and where its emphasis will be placed in the future.
