Debevoise Names Five New Counsel

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is pleased to announce that Lee Turnier Barnum, Kristin D. Kiehn, Wendy B. Reilly, Richard D. Robinson, Jr. and Philip Rohlik have been named Counsel to the firm, effective January 1, 2011.
Lee Turnier Barnum, based in the firm’s New York office, is a member of the Corporate Department. Her practice focuses on registered and private capital markets issuances of debt and equity securities, federal securities law aspects of mergers and acquisition transactions and advice to U.S. and foreign issuers in connection with corporate governance matters and compliance with disclosure obligations. Ms. Barnum joined the firm in 1999. From 2002 to 2003, she clerked for the Honorable Reginald C. Lindsay, District of Massachusetts. Ms. Barnum received her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law (1999), where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and an Executive Editor of the Columbia Law Review, and her A.B., cum laude, in English from Bryn Mawr College (1994).
Kristin D. Kiehn, based in the firm’s New York office, is a member of the Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on white-collar and regulatory matters in the healthcare industry, including government investigations and civil actions relating to the promotion and distribution of pharmaceutical products, and she regularly advises clients on corporate compliance standards in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining the firm in 2001, Ms. Kiehn clerked for the Honorable John S. Martin, Jr., Southern District of New York. From 2002 to 2003, she clerked for the Honorable Chester J. Straub, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Ms. Keihn received her J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law (2000), where she was Writing & Research Editor of the Fordham Law Review, a member of the Order of the Coif, and recipient of the Fordham Law School Prize and Legal Writing Award. She received her M.A. in Cinema Studies from New York University (1996) and her B.A. in English Language and Literature from Smith College (1992).
Wendy B. Reilly, based in the firm’s New York office, is a member of the Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on white collar criminal defense, SEC investigations and enforcement actions, and other complex civil litigation, including contract and employment disputes. Prior to joining the firm in 2001, Ms. Reilly clerked for Justice James H. Coleman, Jr., New Jersey Supreme Court. She received her J.D., with honors, from Rutgers Law School (Newark, 2000), where she was a Marsha Wenk fellow, a Managing Editor of the Rutgers Law Review, and a recipient of the Alumni Senior Prize, and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Douglass College, Rutgers University (1997).
Richard D. Robinson, Jr., based in the firm’s New York office, is a member of the Corporate Department. His practice focuses on advising sponsors of private investment funds, including buyout, infrastructure, real estate, emerging markets and mezzanine funds. Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Mr. Robinson was an associate with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP from 2000 to 2004. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School (2000), where he was an Executive Editor of the Negotiation Law Review, and his B.A., magna cum laude, in Political Science from Duke University (1997).
Philip Rohlik, based in the firm’s New York office, is a member of the Litigation Department. His practice focuses on international investigations and dispute resolution, including international arbitration, and white collar investigations and defense of multinational corporations and financial services companies. Mr. Rohlik joined Debevoise in 2000. From 2001 to 2002, he clerked for the Honorable John T. Noonan, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Rohlik received his J.D., magna cum laude, from New York University School of Law (2000), where he was an Editor of the New York University Law Review, and his B.A., summa cum laude with honors, in French and English from St. Louis University (1997).
