Erica Berthou Named to Crain's New York Business "40 Under 40"

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP partner Erica Berthou has been named to Crain's New York Business "40 Under 40" Class of 2012 list, which appeared in the March 26th issue of the publication. Ms. Berthou was recognized for her work in advising clients "on raising more than $30 billion in private equity funds" and as a "go-to lawyer for setting up funds in emerging markets."
Erica Berthou is a corporate partner and a member of the firm’s Private Equity and Investment Management Groups. Her practice focuses on advising sponsors of open- and closed-ended private investment funds, including buyout, growth capital, real estate, infrastructure, debt and hybrid funds. In addition to sponsors of U.S.-focused funds, Ms. Berthou is advising sponsors of funds targeting Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and South America.
