Experience
Sean Hecker is a litigation partner whose practice focuses on white collar criminal defense, internal investigations and complex civil litigation. He regularly defends individuals and companies in grand jury and regulatory investigations, and criminal proceedings involving allegations of securities fraud, money laundering and criminal antitrust violations. He has conducted numerous internal investigations of alleged FCPA violations, embezzlement and various forms of fraud. He also represents clients in complex civil litigation, including cases involving alleged securities fraud and other commercial disputes. Mr. Hecker recently became a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel in the Eastern District of New York, where he represents indigent federal criminal defendants. Chambers USA (2010/11) recognized Mr. Hecker as “a true rising star in the white-collar area” for his “extremely diligent approach” and “superb technical knowledge.” He is also recommended by The Legal 500 US (2010/11) for white-collar criminal defense.
