Clarisse Hannotin is an associate in Debevoise’s Frankfurt office and a member of the firm’s Investment Management Group.
Ms. Hannotin focuses on financial regulatory matters relevant to the investment management and financial services industry including developments of the EU financial regulatory framework, in particular the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD).
Ms. Hannotin advises international clients on all matters of European financial regulatory law, fund structuring and fund marketing.
Ms. Hannotin studied law at the University of Assas-Paris II and at the Goethe Universität in Frankfurt (LL.M.). She is an alumni of the Ecole Normale Supérieure Lettres et Sciences Humaines (master’s in humanities). Prior to joining Debevoise in 2018, she worked as a legal analyst at the European Central Bank.
In 2018, Ms. Hannotin was on secondment to Invest Europe in Brussels.
Ms. Hannotin was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2018. She is a French native speaker and fluent in English and German.
