Stephen Petraeus is an associate in the Litigation Department.Mr. Petraeus joined Debevoise in 2021. Mr. Petraeus received his J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2021, where he was a staff editor for the National Security Journal, and his M.B.A. with distinction from Harvard Business School in 2021. Mr. Petraeus received a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2009. Prior to law school, Mr. Petraeus served as an officer in the United States Army from 2009 to 2017.Mr. Petraeus is a co-author of “Attorney Communications With Dual Purpose Can Still Be Protected,” Bloomberg Law (January, 2023); “Debevoise & Plimpton Discusses SEC Enforcement Action Highlighting Whistleblower-Related Rules,” CLS Blue Sky Blog (April, 2022) and “Sources of Power in Public Negotiations: A Framework Applied to Public-Public and Public-Private Negotiations,” Negotiation Journal, Vol. 36, No. 4 (Fall 2020).
