- Clayton, Dubilier & Rice in the sale of its investment in Belron, a worldwide leader in vehicle glass repair and replacement, valuing the company at €21 billion, including the formation of a new special purpose vehicle formed to continue CD&R’s partnership with Belron.

Akash Balaggan is a Corporate Staff Attorney and a member of the Investment Management Group. Mr. Balaggan joined Debevoise in 2021. Prior to joining the New York office, Mr. Balaggan worked as a staff attorney in the Litigation and Investigations Group in the General Counsels Office at Credit Suisse.Mr. Balaggan received a J.D. from New York Law School in 2019, and a B.A. from St. John’s University in 2014.Mr. Balaggan is a member of the New York State Bar.
