Amy Aixi Zhang is a corporate law clerk and a member of the Banking and Financial Institutions Groups.

Ms. Zhang joined Debevoise in 2020. Ms. Zhang received her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2020 where she was President of the Harvard Association of Law and Business, and President and Co-Founder of the Harvard Law School Blockchain and FinTech Initiative. She received a B.A. with honors from New York University in 2014.

Ms. Zhang is author of “Regulating Crypto Assets: Securities and Commodities,” a case study published in FinTech Law: The Case Studies by Harvard University Press in July 2020. She is also a co-author of “The Future of AI Regulation: The RFI on AI from U.S. Banking Regulators,” NYU Compliance & Enforcement Blog (April, 2021) and “Likely Policy Priorities of the Gensler SEC,” NYU Compliance & Enforcement Blog (April, 2021). Ms. Zhang is also a co-author of the “Banking Regulation 2021—United States” chapter for Lexology’s Getting the Deal Through.
