Astrid Medianero Bottger is an associate in the Litigation Department.

Ms. Medianero joined Debevoise in 2021. Prior to joining Debevoise, she worked in the International Arbitration Department of a leading law firm in Paris. From 2017 to 2018, she worked as an associate in a leading Peruvian law firm, where she focused in projects, infrastructure and dispute resolution. From 2018 to 2020, she was Legal Counsel in a private equity firm covering the Latin American region.

Ms. Medianero holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, where she was awarded a Dean’s Scholar Prize and was Vice President for Events at the Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association as well as submissions editor at the Harvard Business Law Review. She graduated valedictorian and 1st in her class from Universidad del Pacifico Law School in Peru where she was co-founder of the Forseti Law Review. Ms. Medianero was also a contributor at the Global Anticorruption Blog.

Ms. Medianero is admitted to practice in New York and Peru. She is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English, French and Portuguese.
