Jonathan D. Ricottilli is a corporate associate in the firm’s Investment Management Group.

Mr. Ricottilli joined Debevoise in 2021. Mr. Ricottilli’s practice focuses on advising sponsors of private equity funds, co-investment vehicles and separately managed accounts, covering numerous sectors and strategies including real estate, buyout, secondaries and growth equity. His recent experience includes acting for clients such as Providence Equity Partners, PSG Equity, Carmel Partners and Elliott Investment Management.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ricottilli represented individuals and financial service firms on an array of issues and matters in federal and state court including, but not limited to, securities disputes, complex commercial disputes, intellectual property claims, SEC investigations as well as advising clients on various corporate and transactional matters. 

Mr. Ricottilli received his J.D. cum laude from Pace University, Elisabeth Haub School of Law in 2020, where he received the Excellence in Clinical Education Award for outstanding clinic performance and dedication to the Pace Investor Rights Clinic. Mr. Ricottilli received his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Rhode Island in 2016.

Mr. Ricottilli is a member of the State Bar of New York and New Jersey.
