Melanie Burke is an associate in the Litigation Group. Her practice focuses on a wide range of complex commercial litigation, including contract disputes and securities litigation.

Ms. Burke joined Debevoise in 2018. From 2013 to 2014, she clerked for the Honorable Kevin Thomas Duffy, United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. From 2014 to 2018, Ms. Burke was a litigation associate at an international law firm in New York working on a variety of white collar and general commercial litigation matters.

Ms. Burke received a J.D. cum laude from Fordham University School of Law in 2013, where she was a member of the Fordham Law Review. She received a B.A. magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 2007.

Ms. Burke is admitted to appear before the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
