Michael Compton McGregor is a litigation associate whose practice focuses on intellectual property.
Mr. McGregor joined Debevoise in 2015. Mr. McGregor received a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2015. He is the 2014 recipient of Harvard Law School’s Paul C. Weiler Student Writing Prize for his work, “The Off-Field War in Sports: Combating Ambush Marketing with a Mix of Legal and Business Armor.” Mr. McGregor is the author of “Sports, GIFs, and Copyright: Is it a Draw between Content Owners and Consumers in the Web 2.0 Era?,” 21 UCLA Ent. L. Rev. (forthcoming December 2015). He received a B.A from Columbia University in 2012.
