Ms. Salaam is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the firm’s Cybersecurity & Data Privacy practice.

Ms. Salaam counsels Fortune 500 and other companies regarding privacy and cybersecurity matters, including all aspects of data breach preparedness and response. Her representations include assistance with planning and conducting simulated breach drills and managing consumer, media, and regulator notifications for breaches impacting consumers in all 50 states and foreign countries.

Ms. Salaam joined Debevoise in 2016. From 2018 to 2019, she clerked for Magistrate Judge Steven M. Gold of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Ms. Salaam received her J.D., cum laude, from Howard University School of Law in 2016. While there, she served as a Henry Ramsey Dean’s Fellow and a senior articles editor for the Howard Law Journal. She received her B.S. from Howard University in 2012.
