Que Mykte’ Newbill is an associate in the Litigation Department. His practice focuses on intellectual property disputes and white collar internal investigations.
Mr. Newbill joined Debevoise in 2018. From 2021 to 2022, he clerked for the Hon. Joan M. Azrack of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. In 2021, he completed a public service secondment at the New York City Law Department where he was a Special Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Labor and Employment division.
Mr. Newbill received a J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2018, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. At Columbia, he was the recipient of the 2016 Irell & Manella Prize, the Venable Foundation Public Interest Fellowship and the Parker School Certificate for Achievement in Foreign and Comparative Law. He was also the senior digital editor for the Columbia Business Law Review. He received a B.A. from Grinnell College in 2011.
Mr. Newbill is a member of the Bar of the State of New York and is admitted to appear before the Southern District of New York and Eastern District of New York.
