Tristan M. Ellis is an associate in the Litigation Department.

Mr. Ellis joined Debevoise in 2016 after clerking for the Hon. Edward R. Korman of the Eastern District of New York. From 2018 to 2019, he clerked for the Hon. Rosemary S. Pooler of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Mr. Ellis received a J.D. summa cum laude from Brooklyn Law School in 2015, where he was an articles editor of the Brooklyn Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. He received a B.A. from Brandeis University in 2009 and an M.A. in 2011.

Mr. Ellis is a member of the New York and California Bars. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
