Sarah A.W. Fitts Named Chair of the American Bar Association’s Renewable, Alternative, and Distributed Energy Resources Committee

Sarah A.W. Fitts has been named Chair of the Renewable, Alternative, and Distributed Energy Resources Committee (RADER) of the American Bar Association's Section of Environment, Energy and Resources. RADER focuses on policy and practical issues affecting expansion of markets for renewable and distributed energy resources, including policy, tax, legal constraints and financing. The RADER committee organizes monthly webinars in conjunction with the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), regular newsletters and a student writing competition. In prior years Ms. Fitts has served on the committee as a vice chair for webinars and for the annual year-in-review publication.

Ms. Fitts, a corporate partner, is a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group and Co-Chair of the firm’s Energy & Natural Resources Group. She works in the U.S. and internationally, advising clients on M&A transactions, projects and restructurings, with particular experience in joint ventures and other multi-party governance arrangements.
