Debevoise & Plimpton LLP partner Katherine Ashton has been named by IFLR1000 to its “Women Leaders 2021” list.

The list recognizes an elite cohort of the leading female transactional experts in local markets globally. It is the result of work by research teams in New York, London and Hong Kong, evaluating survey data from thousands of law firms and their clients.

Ms. Ashton is a partner in Debevoise’s London office, and is a leader of the firm’s Alternative Assets Transactions and Liquidity Solutions Group. She regularly counsels investors on private fund transactions, including secondaries, continuation funds, restructurings, recapitalisations and tender offers; listed fund transactions; purchases and sales of portfolios of LP interests; and domestic and cross-border co-investment transactions.

In 2020, Ms. Ashton advised on some of the market’s most innovative and impactful transactions, including all three deals named by Private Equity International as their European secondaries deals of the year.
