Debevoise & Plimpton LLP was named “Most Impressive Investigations Practice of the Year” at the 2023 Global Investigations Review Awards on November 16, for having successfully navigated the most high-profile and complex investigations in the past 12 months. GIR noted the firm’s role over the past year in representing Lafarge in its nearly $778 million resolution with the DOJ, advising Singaporean marine engineering business Keppel Offshore in its $65 million settlement with two Brazilian agencies, and Corsa Coal Corporation in its declination from U.S. and Canadian authorities over alleged bribes to a state-owned business in Egypt.
