Robert Hoose is an international counsel in the firm’s London office. His practice focuses on international commercial arbitration and commercial litigation, particularly in the construction and engineering sectors.

Mr. Hoose has experience of representing companies in litigation in the UK and related jurisdictions; of domestic and international arbitration before major institutions including the ICC, LCIA, and SIAC; as well as ad hoc and informal proceedings such as domestic UK construction adjudication, pre-arbitral processes and mediation.

Mr. Hoose joined Debevoise in 2015 from another U.S. law firm. He received his B.A. in Jurisprudence in 2007 from the Queen’s College, University of Oxford. He is an Exhibitioner of the Middle Temple, London and qualified as a barrister in 2010 after undertaking training with a London barristers’ chambers specialising in construction, engineering, insurance and shipbuilding.
