Dominic Blaxill is a partner in the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Groups, and is also part of the firm’s Private Fund Transactions Group.

Mr. Blaxill has worked extensively with financial sponsors, corporates and investment banks on a range of public and private M&A, joint ventures, restructurings, capital raisings and general corporate matters across a variety of sectors. He was named to Legal Week’s “Rising Stars in Private Equity” list in 2021, and is recommended by The Legal 500 UK (2024), where clients have noted that he is “superb”, “technically very strong,” with “a great commercial mindset.” He has also been named a Rising Star by Expert Guides in the Corporate/M&A/Private Equity section.

Mr. Blaxill joined Debevoise in 2015. Prior to joining the London office, Mr. Blaxill was an associate in the corporate group of a leading international law firm, where he spent time working in London, Hong Kong and Australia.

He received his LL.B. (Honours) in 2008 from the University of Manchester and his legal practice certificate (Distinction) in 2009 from the College of Law, London.

Mr. Blaxill was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales in 2011.
