Edoardo Troina is a corporate associate and a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Markets and Private Equity Groups. Mr. Troina has experience representing international corporations and private equity sponsors across a range of international corporate transactions. This has included advising on significant cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, minority and control investments, secondary and co-invest transactions and private equity.

Mr. Troina rejoined Debevoise in 2022 from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (“AIIB”), a multilateral development bank with over 100 member states, where he served as Counsel working on debt and equity finance transactions in emerging markets. Prior to joining AIIB, Mr. Troina worked as an associate in the corporate department of Debevoise and, prior to that, another leading international firm. While there, Mr. Troina completed a client secondment to a private equity fund specialising in telecoms and infrastructure. Mr. Troina also spent time working for the European Commission and the European Parliament.

In 2009, Mr. Troina received an M.A. from the College of Europe, where he was a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. He also received a B.A. (Hons) from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2008. He completed his GDL and LPC at, and received an LL.B. from, the University of Law in 2013.

Mr. Troina is admitted to practise in England & Wales (Solicitor) and Ireland (Solicitor, not practising). He is fluent in Italian and French, conversational in Spanish and has a working knowledge of Mandarin Chinese.
