Iryna V. Nikolaieva is an associate based in the New York office and is a member of the firm’s Corporate Department and Aviation Practice Group. She concentrates her practice on a wide variety of domestic and international financing projects, including corporate financing and aircraft financing. She recently co-authored “How the EETC Structure Has Changed,” Airfinance Journal (May, 2010).

Ms. Nikolaieva is recognized as a “Star Associate” by Chambers USA (2023), where she is recognized for her work assisting on large aviation financings with particular competence in leasing transactions. Clients describe her as a “technically excellent lawyer” and highlight her “amazing analytical ability and passion to protect the client’s position.” She receives praise for her “excellent breadth of knowledge in the area,” and is said to be “extremely responsive” and to provide “thorough and pragmatic counsel.” She is also named a “Rising Star” by The Legal 500 US (2023).

Ms. Nikolaieva joined the firm in 2000. She received a J.D. with honors in 1996 from Zaporozhye State University (Ukraine). She is fluent in English, Russian and Ukrainian.
