Katie Power is a corporate associate and a member of the firm’s Insurance and Financial Institutions Groups. Her practice focuses on corporate transactions in the insurance and asset management industries, particularly public and private M&A transactions, reinsurance, reorganizations, minority investments and joint ventures. She advises insurers, private equity sponsors, financial institutions and corporates on multi-national transactional and regulatory matters. Ms. Power has worked in the firm’s London and New York offices.

Ms. Power regularly contributes to Debevoise’s insurance publications and co-authored “ESG Considerations in the Insurance Industry,” Practical Law (October, 2023).

Ms. Power joined Debevoise as a trainee solicitor in 2017. She graduated from St. Catherine’s College, University of Oxford in 2015 and completed the GDL and LPC at BPP University Law School.

Ms. Power was admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales in 2019.
