The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), enacted 35 years ago, granted the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) broad jurisdiction to enforce its prohibition against bribery of foreign government officials.
