Cochran, Sally Gibson and Alyona Kucher have been named “2015 Rising Stars” by Law360 in the insurance, private equity and real estate categories, respectively. Mr. Cochran, a partner based in Debevoise’s New York office, is a member of the firm’s Financial Institutions Group. He focuses on corporate transactions in the insurance industry, including mergers and acquisitions, with an emphasis on transactions involving acquisitions by private equity funds, hedge funds and other financial buyers, financing transactions, as well as insurance and reinsurance regulatory matters.

Ms. Gibson, international counsel in the firm’s London office, is a member of Debevoise's Investment Management Group. Her practice focuses on advising sponsors of private investment funds, including buyout, real estate, mezzanine and secondaries funds. She has extensive experience working with clients to navigate the regulatory issues affecting the private equity and fund management sectors.

Ms. Kucher, a partner in Debevoise’s Moscow office, is principally involved in general corporate practice, construction (in particular, major infrastructure projects), sale/purchase, lease and operation of real estate and other immovable property, oil and gas projects and M&A.
