Debevoise & Plimpton LLP today announced that Michael A. Diz, Jeremy Feigelson, Peter A. Furci and M. Michael A. Diz is a corporate partner and member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Private Equity and Corporate Governance Groups. Mr. Diz has a broad-based transactional practice advising multi-national companies, special committees and private equity firms in structuring and negotiating mergers and acquisitions and other corporate matters. He also counsels corporations and their directors on corporate governance and fiduciary duty matters.
Jeremy Feigelson is a litigation partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property and Media Group and leads the firm’s Cybersecurity & Data Privacy practice. He frequently represents clients in litigations and government investigations that involve the Internet and new technologies. His practice includes litigation and counseling on privacy, trademark, false advertising, copyright, and defamation matters. Mr. Feigelson has a broad and active practice in financial services matters, including securities litigation, investment management disputes and counseling of fund boards, the conduct of internal reviews, defense of government investigations, and complex commercial litigation.
Peter A. Furci is a tax partner and a member of the firm’s Private Equity, Latin America and Family Enterprise Groups. He concentrates on the tax aspects of a wide range of corporate transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financings and debt and equity securities offerings by U.S. and non-U.S. issuers. He also practices extensively in the area of private investment funds, including emerging markets, hedge, mezzanine, distressed debt, infrastructure and real estate funds.
M. Natasha Labovitz is a corporate partner and Co-Chair of the firm’s Business Restructuring & Workouts Group. She has extensive experience advising a range of clients, including private equity firms, fund investors and portfolio companies, in complex corporate restructurings and transactions, representing debtors and creditors in and out of bankruptcy and in cross-border insolvencies across multiple jurisdictions.
