Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. as financial advisor to Akorn, a U.S-based manufacturer and marketer of prescription and over-the-counter pharmaceutical products, in its sale to Fresenius Kabi. The transaction, which is valued at approximately $4.3 billion, is expected to close by early 2018.
