In recognition of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP’s longstanding commitment to providing pro bono service for survivors of domestic violence, the firm has received the 2018 Law Firm Award from Her Justice, which provides free legal help to women living in poverty in New York City. As part of its work with Her Justice, last year alone, sixty lawyers and staff members at Debevoise provided legal services for the benefit of approximately two dozen women and their children.
“Her Justice is proud to recognize Debevoise & Plimpton LLP with the Law Firm award. A long standing partner since shortly after our inception 25 years ago, we are honoring Debevoise for its unwavering commitment, professional skill and ability to ‘leave no stone unturned’ in their quest to obtain justice for women and children living in poverty,” said Her Justice in announcing the award.
Debevoise lawyers have been dedicated to public service since the firm was founded in 1931.
