Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising J.P. Morgan, the financial advisor to FS Investment Corporation, in FS Investment Corporation’s $8 billion merger with Corporate Capital Trust. Combination of FS Investment Corporation and Corporate Capital Trust will create the second largest publicly traded business development company. The combined company will remain externally managed by FS/KKR Advisor, LLC, which has approximately $18 billion in combined assets under management as of March 31, 2018.
