Debevoise & Plimpton has been named to The American Lawyer’s 2018 “A-List.” The list seeks to highlight the most well-rounded firms of the year by taking both financial and cultural criteria into consideration when choosing firms for inclusion. Debevoise has been on the “A-List” every year since it was created.

The American Lawyer describes this year’s ranked firms as “the best of the best,” scoring each in five distinct areas of excellence: revenue per lawyer, pro bono commitment, associate satisfaction, diversity and percentage of women equity partners. This year, Debevoise’s score increased in almost all categories, including an eight-point spike in women equity partners. Since 2008, 40% of Debevoise lawyers promoted to partner have been women.
