Debevoise Partners Jeffrey Cunard and Jeremy Feigelson Address Developments in Media and Communications Law

Debevoise partners Jeffrey P. Cunard and Jeremy Feigelson will once again co-chair Practising Law Institute’s Communications Law in the Digital Age 2018, addressing developments in media and communications law, including challenges arising from the prevalence of digital and social media.

Mr. Cunard, who will moderate panels on electronic media regulation, intellectual property and international media law issues, leads the firm’s corporate intellectual property, information technology and e-commerce practices. He has broad experience in transactions, including software and technology licenses, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and outsourcing arrangements. Mr. Cunard’s practice also encompasses copyright litigation.

Mr. Feigelson, who will moderate panels on privacy, the right of publicity and related claims and on hot topics in communications law, is Co-Chair of the firm’s Cybersecurity & Data Privacy practice and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Media Group. He frequently represents clients in litigations and government investigations that involve the Internet and new technologies. His practice includes litigation and counseling on cybersecurity, data privacy, trademark, right of publicity, false advertising, copyright, and defamation matters.
