Debevoise Honored for Dealmaker of the Year and Deal of the Year at 2020 Deal Awards

At this year’s Deal Awards, sponsored by The Deal, Debevoise & Plimpton LLP partner Sue Meng received the award for TMT Dealmaker of the Year, and Debevoise was recognized for Healthcare Deal of the Year for the firm’s involvement in the $63 billion sale of Allergan to Abbvie. The TMT Dealmaker award comes on the heels of Ms. Meng being named Dealmaker of the Year by The American Lawyer in March 2020 for her representation of Toyota Motor Corporation in its joint investment in Uber’s Advanced Technologies Group.

Ms. Meng is a corporate partner and member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions, Technology, Media & Telecommunications and Private Equity Groups, and Co-Chair of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee. Her practice focuses on advising public companies, boards of directors and special committees, and private equity firms in connection with mergers & acquisitions, strategic investments and other significant corporate matters. Ms. Meng represents a number of notable technology clients and investors in tech-related businesses.
