Debevoise & Plimpton LLP partner Mary Jo White, in a Bloomberg Television interview (starts at the 36:20 mark), discusses the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s potential priorities under Gary Gensler, President Biden’s nominee to chair the commission, including ESG disclosures, market structure issues and cryptocurrency regulation.  
Ms. White is Senior Chair of the firm, a litigation partner within the firm’s award winning White Collar & Regulatory Defense Group and leader of the firm’s Strategic Crisis Response and Solutions Group. She chaired the SEC from 2013 to 2017 and previously served as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.
