Debevoise Launches Groundbreaking Suite of Tools for Data Security Needs

19 October 2021

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP’s Data Strategy & Security practice has launched its Debevoise Data Portal. The Portal, which had been in beta testing since June 2020 with a select group of users, is now available for subscription.

The Portal consists of a groundbreaking suite of tools that helps clients address business critical data security issues:

  • The Cyber Breach Notification Assessment Tool: Allows subscribers to rapidly assess notification obligations by answering a series of questions about a hypothetical or actual cyber incident. The tool then generates a detailed report of the applicable breach notification obligations and generates templates for the actual notifications.
  • The AI Regulatory Tracker: An interactive database of the latest AI regulatory developments that assists subscribers with future-proofing their AI programs and building models that will help withstand scrutiny of future AI regulatory regimes.
  • The Cybersecurity Enforcement Tracker: A continually updated and searchable database of regulatory actions and civil litigation brought against companies that have experienced a data breach. The tracker enables subscribers to monitor cyber enforcement and litigation trends and draw predictions about the impact of actual or hypothetical cyber incidents.

Portal subscribers gain access to a dynamic ecosystem that is regularly updated to reflect the latest changes in breach notification laws and regulatory guidance, enabling users to gain a better understanding of their own exposures to various cyber and AI risks.

A brief overview of the Portal is provided in the above video. Please contact dataportal@debevoise.com to schedule a demo or for more information.
