Debevoise & Plimpton LLP announced today that Megan Arrogante has joined the firm’s New York office as counsel in the Insurance Group. In her new role, Ms. Arrogante will focus on complex corporate and transactional matters for clients operating in the insurance industry.

Ms. Arrogante brings to the firm deep experience in advising insurance companies, private equity firms, insurance producers, reinsurers, start-ups and investors on a broad range of transactional matters, including structuring complex carve-out transactions through reinsurance and administrative services arrangements. She has also advised domestic and international insurance companies on corporate governance matters including the formation of entities, reorganizations, conversions, divestitures and dissolutions.

Prior to joining Debevoise, Ms. Arrogante worked at another international law firm. Earlier in her career, she served as an in-house attorney at CUNA Mutual Group.

Ms. Arrogante received her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School magna cum laude in 2010 and her B.A. from DePaul University summa cum laude in 2007.
