The Moscow office of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP has advised Elbrus Capital Fund III in its investment in VseInstrumenti.ru, the largest online retailer of DIY goods in Russia and one of the leaders in the Russian DIY market. Elbrus Capital Fund III invested alongside Russian Direct Investment Fund, and partners among the leading sovereign wealth funds of the Middle East.
VseInstrumenti.ru will use the funds raised from investors to develop its fulfillment infrastructure and increase its range of products, which now includes more than 600,000 items. The funds will also be invested into the further expansion of its network of pick-up points in Russia.
Elbrus Capital is a leading Russia and CIS-focused private equity business with over $1.5 billion of assets under management.
The Debevoise team advising on the deal was led by international counsel Maxim Kuleshov and included associate Nikolay Kiselev.
