According to Law360, these annual awards recognize work done by transactional, litigation and regulatory lawyers across each of the groups. Fund Formation Category: The Investment Management Group has advised private investment firms on the formation of, and investors on the investment in, private investments funds in all major investment strategies and across all major jurisdictions. With a global regulatory network and deep international experience, the practice counsels across the entire life cycle of these complex products and vehicles – covering organization and economic arrangements for sponsors, fund formation, downstream transactions, exits, firm and fund restructurings, buy-side work, secondaries and wind downs.
Intellectual Property Category: The Intellectual Property Litigation Group handles a wide variety of cases around the world, including trademark, trade dress and advertising disputes; copyright matters in media and entertainment; right of publicity issues; and unfair competition, trade secret and patent cases. Many of its cases have cross-border components, and it has deep experience across a wide range of industries. The Group has been selected as Managing Intellectual Property’s “Trademark Contentious Firm of the Year” in four of the last seven years.
