Alejandro Tafur is an international lawyer in the Litigation Department and a member of the International Dispute Resolution Group.

Mr. Tafur joined Debevoise in 2026. He received an LL.M. in International Business and Economic Law and a Certificate in International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution from Georgetown University Law School in 2026, where he graduated with Distinction and Dean’s List honors. Mr. Tafur was a board member of the Georgetown International Arbitration Society. He received his law degree with honors from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru in 2020, where he was a member of the Themis Law Review.

Before joining Debevoise, Mr. Tafur was an associate in the international arbitration group at a leading law firm in Peru.

Mr. Tafur is a member of the Peruvian Bar. He is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English.
