Alexander Walenta is a corporate associate and a member of the Investment Management Group. 

Mr. Walenta’s practice focuses on the setting-up and structuring regulated and unregulated investment vehicles including SIFs, SICARs, RAIFs, AIFs for international investors, with a particular focus on private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure and credit funds.

Mr. Walenta joined Debevoise in 2025. He received an LL.M. in European and international business law from the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg in 2017. He received a Master of Laws in European law from the University Rennes I in 2017 and a Bachelor of Laws from the Jean Moulin University Lyon in 2015. 

Prior to joining Debevoise, he was an associate at a leading international law firm in Luxembourg.
