- Banco Safra, one of the largest private banks in the Brazil, and holding companies within the Safra family’s multibillion-dollar financial services group, in five consolidated LCIA arbitrations and related proceedings in New York, Gibraltar, Brazil and Switzerland against Alberto Safra. The disputes concerned Alberto Safra’s challenge to family shareholdings as well as governance decisions related to the companies. The parties reached a global settlement of all disputes.
