Anita Kapyur is an associate in the Litigation Department.

Ms. Kapyur joined Debevoise in 2022. From 2025 to 2026, she clerked for the Hon. Michael A. Shipp of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Ms. Kapyur received a J.D./M.B.A. from Columbia University in 2022, where she was a James Kent scholar, a recipient of the Parker School Certificate for Achievement in International and Comparative Law, and an editor for the Science & Technology Law Review. She was also awarded first place in the 2021 Reuben Mark Organizational Leadership Case Competition at Columbia University. She received her B.A. from Rice University in 2016. She is fluent in Malayalam.
