Arie Scharf is a corporate associate and a member of the Investment Management Group. 

Mr. Scharf joined Debevoise in 2024. Prior to joining Debevoise, Mr. Scharf was an associate at international law firms in Madrid and London, giving him a wide-ranging view of the international funds landscape.

Mr. Scharf advises fund sponsors and institutional investors on private investment fund structuring, secondary transactions, co-investment schemes, carried interest arrangements and other related transactions, with a focus on private equity, venture capital, real estate and infrastructure funds. 

Mr. Scharf was admitted as a lawyer in Spain in 2017. He received a law degree from the European University of Madrid in 2015, a Master’s Degree to Access the Legal Profession from the Nebrija University in 2016 and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law and M&A from ISDE in 2018.  

He is fluent in English and Spanish.
