Arpan Chakrabarti is a corporate law clerk and a member of the Investment Management group.

Mr. Chakrabarti joined Debevoise in 2025. He received a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where he was an editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review for two years. Mr. Chakrabarti received a B.S. and dual B.A. degrees from the University of Chicago in 2019.

Mr. Chakrabarti is the author of “Broker-Dealer Blues: A Comparison of SEC, FINRA, and CFTC Retail Investor Regulation with Historical Approaches in Antitrust and Telecommunications Regulation,” University of Pennsylvania Journal of Business Law (2025) and a co-author of “The Future of Capital Markets: Democratization of Retail Investing,” World Economic Forum (2022).
