Berk Guler is a litigation associate and a member of the firm’s White Collar & Regulatory Defense Group. His practice focuses on government and internal investigations, securities enforcement actions, and compliance advice. Mr. Guler is also an associate editor of the Debevoise Insider Trading & Disclosure Update.
Mr. Guler joined Debevoise in 2021. He received a J.D. cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 2021, where he was an articles editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics. Prior to and during law school, Mr. Guler worked as a paralegal and legal analyst at the World Bank Office of Suspension and Debarment. Previously, he worked as a transfer pricing associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
Mr. Guler is a co-author of “US Compliance Enforcement,” Global Investigations Review (October, 2023); “Insider Trading Disclosure Update: Rulemaking Activity,” Harvard Forum on Corporate Governance (June, 2023) and “US Compliance Enforcement,” Global Investigations Review (September, 2022).
Mr. Guler received a B.A. magna cum laude from Georgetown University in 2014. He is a native Turkish speaker.
