Our Lawyer Stories

Anu Chugh, Associate

"As a midlevel associate, my role is not only to have a strong handle of facts and details that pertain to a matter, but also a high-level understanding of strategy. While clerking, I quickly learned how to balance such needs, as I would not only need to be incredibly familiar with the nuanced details of a case, but also how the law might dictate the overall outcome of the case. My clerkship allowed me to explore several different types of cases and topics in the law—the most rewarding part of the experience was getting to learn so much in such a short period of time. Ultimately, clerking helped me hone my analytical skills while also giving me a sense of how to address the “big picture” questions. It was a truly hands-on experience—challenging but incredibly valuable and rewarding."
