Why Choose Debevoise

Jim Pastore, Partner, Cybersecurity & Data Privacy,
Former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District

"Forget early responsibility. At Debevoise, you get instant responsibility. It was clear from the moment I arrived as a junior associate that my job wasn’t to just do whatever a partner asks. My job was to get the right answer for the client. When partners with 20+ years of experience turned to me and genuinely asked for my views, it was incredibly motivating and it was great for my growth as a lawyer. It’s how I learned to be a fearless litigator."

David Imamura, Associate,
Class of 2015, Litgation, White Collar Investigations

"The firm goes out of its way to give you stretch assignments that will help you learn and develop your skills. It’s a given that everyone pitches in and puts the client and the work product first. “How can I help?” is a very Debevoise attitude."
